Springcare is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple care homes in the South Midlands, ensuring high-quality care, strict compliance, and strong team performance.

The role requires a Registered General Nurse with management experience, budgeting, occupancy management, and a willingness to travel across sites, including on-call support.

Qualifications

• RGN qualification and nursing registration.
• NVQ Level 5 in Management (Level 7 desirable).
• Proven experience in operations management.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.
• Experience in managing budgets and occupancy.
• Travel and out-of-hours availability.
• GDPR and safeguarding knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop Home Managers and Deputies across multiple sites.
• Drive continuous compliance with CQC, local authorities, and internal standards.
• Oversee service quality, resident safety, and care outcomes.
• Monitor performance via audits, KPIs, and action plans.
• Represent Springcare in stakeholder meetings, including CQC and Local Authorities.
• Support homes through complaints management, unannounced visits, and risk assessments.
• Provide reports, insights, and strategic input to the Senior Management Team.
• Contribute to company-wide quality plans, policies, and staff development initiatives.

Springcare is seeking a dedicated Operations Manager, who is an experienced RGN, to oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of care homes, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and team performance.

As part of our Operations Management Team, you will work closely with Home Managers, Deputy Managers, and staff teams to create safe, nurturing environments where vulnerable adults thrive. You'll play a critical role in supporting and inspiring our teams to achieve excellence across care delivery, compliance, and business outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead, support, and develop Home Managers and Deputies across multiple sites

We're Looking For:

• A Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification
• NVQ Level 5 in Management (Level 7 desirable)
• Proven experience in operations management
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
• Experience in managing budgets and occupancy
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and people development skills
• Ability to analyse performance data and drive improvements
• Willingness to travel and participate in out-of-hours support

• Knowledge of dementia care best practices
• Experience with policy development, quality assurance, and service turnaround
• Understanding of GDPR and safeguarding practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
