Job summary

Wascle Limited is recruiting an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations in Redruth, Cornwall. You will oversee Area Managers and field teams, ensuring service standards, productivity and profitability while driving data-led improvements.

You will interpret KPIs and management information to support commercial decisions, manage escalations and collaborate with Finance, Commercial and senior leaders to shape the organisation's growth.

Qualifications

• Previous Operations Manager or senior operational management experience.
• Strong people-management and leadership skills.
• Experience managing KPIs, SLAs and operational performance.
• Experience using data to monitor performance and support business decisions.
• The ability to interpret reports, dashboards and commercial information.
• Experience managing field teams, subcontractors or service providers.
• Confidence working with customers and senior management.
• A practical, hands-on approach to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operational function.
• Manage, support and develop Area Managers and operational staff.
• Oversee performance across field teams and third-party service providers.
• Ensure customer SLAs and service standards are consistently achieved.
• Monitor productivity, service quality, costs and operational margins.
• Use data and KPIs to identify trends, challenge performance and drive improvement.
• Produce and interpret performance reports and management information.
• Support commercial decision-making through analysis of operational and financial data.
• Manage escalated operational and customer issues.
• Improve systems, processes and working practices.
• Support recruitment, training and performance management.
• Ensure appropriate health, safety, environmental and operational compliance.
• Work closely with Finance, Commercial and senior management teams.
