Job summary

CapeClarke is seeking an experienced Operations Manager in the United Kingdom to take a senior leadership role within a large division. The role focuses on leading performance, resource planning, service delivery and continuous improvement, working closely with senior leadership across the business.

You will manage a sizeable operation through managers, drive people leadership, and balance day-to-day operations with longer-term improvements, using data and KPIs to inform decision-making.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing a sizeable operation, ideally through managers or team leaders.
• Strong track record in people leadership, performance management, resource planning and process improvement.
• Comfortable working with data and KPIs, and influencing senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a large operational team through an established management structure.
• Own performance, productivity and service levels across the operation.
• Plan resources across recruitment, retention, capacity and workflow.
• Use MI and data to identify trends, challenges and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders on operational and strategic projects.
• Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and ways of working.
• Support and develop managers and future leaders within the team.
• Manage operational risk and maintain high standards across the department.
