This is more than just an operational role, it’s a chance to shape the future of a group that is committed to delivering outstanding, person‑centred care across its 12 services, while growing and innovating in the care sector.

As Operations Director, you’ll be the Nominated Individual and will be at the heart of the organisation, working closely with the CEO and COO to drive operational excellence, inspire your teams, and make a real difference to the lives of residents and clients. You’ll ensure that every service meets the highest standards of care, compliance, and commercial performance, while helping the organisation grow sustainably.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the operational strategy across all services, turning vision into practical, measurable plans.
  • Champion high-quality, person‑centred care across all sites, embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC and other statutory regulations, leading by example.
  • Take ownership of operational budgets and performance, balancing quality outcomes with efficiency and financial sustainability.
  • Inspire and lead a large, multidisciplinary team, creating a culture where people feel valued, empowered, and accountable.
  • Be the public face of the organisation with regulators, commissioners, local authorities, and partners, building trust and credibility.
  • Play a key role in new service launches, acquisitions, and integrations, ensuring smooth implementation and lasting success.
Who You Are
  • A senior, board‑level operational leader with experience in Care Homes, ideally across multiple sites.
  • Confident navigating CQC regulation, quality governance, and commercial operations.
  • Skilled at leading large teams, fostering engagement, and driving performance improvement.
  • Strategically minded, with the ability to translate big‑picture vision into actionable operational plans.
  • Commercially astute, with a track record of managing large budgets, KPIs, and operational performance.
  • Collaborative, authentic, and values‑led, able to influence and communicate at Board and stakeholder level.
  • Resilient and decisive, thriving in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
Why This Role

This is a chance to make your mark on an organisation that genuinely puts care and people at the heart of what it does. You’ll lead operational strategy across a group that’s innovating, expanding, and delivering exceptional care every day. This role offers the opportunity to work with a team that shares your commitment to quality, growth, and meaningful impact.
