Belcan Workforce Solutions is recruiting for an Operations & Crewing Coordinator to support a major offshore wind operations site in Lowestoft, Suffolk. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced renewable energy environment, playing a key role in coordinating maintenance activities, operational planning, technical administration, and site support services.
Due to the operational requirements of the role, this position is fully site-based. Candidates should ideally live within approximately 30 minutes of the Lowestoft site.
Working within a busy operational team, the Operations & Crewing Coordinator will be responsible for the meticulous administration of wind farm operations, maintaining accurate technical and commercial records, and ensuring clear separation of costs between service and warranty activities. You will raise, schedule and allocate both planned and reactive maintenance activities, working closely with field personnel and operational stakeholders to ensure resource availability and efficient execution of work.
A key aspect of the role will involve creating and maintaining daily and weekly maintenance plans, optimising workforce deployment and the utilisation of Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs). You will support operational delivery through SAP and associated systems, carrying out technical verification activities, monitoring parts consumption, collating time data, supporting billing processes, and initiating parts replenishment when required.
The Operations & Crewing Coordinator will also coordinate reporting, documentation archives, and record-keeping activities to maintain a complete service and maintenance history. In addition, you will prepare and manage Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) documentation, ensuring all maintenance and troubleshooting activities are carried out in accordance with business objectives, customer requirements, UK legislation, and industry best practices.
To be successful in this role, you will be highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment. Strong computer literacy is essential, particularly in Microsoft Excel and other business systems. Previous SAP experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training can be provided. Excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both operational and technical teams are key to success.
