Job summary

  • Assist with purchasing by raising requisitions and tracking orders.
  • Ensure adherence to health & safety, GDPR, and company policies.

This role will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of project and office activities. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, and external stakeholders, supporting project logistics, documentation, and coordination in a fast-paced environment.

This is a key role within a growing and highly ambitious engineering projects organisation, requiring a highly organised individual with strong operational and administrative experience.

Operations Coordinator Job Overview
  • Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Major Projects team, including diary management, meeting coordination, and communication handling.
  • Document Control & Reporting: Maintain and update project documentation, reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, and filing systems (digital and physical), ensuring accurate document control.
  • Project Coordination: Support project tracking by updating schedules, logging actions, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on actions.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to support information sharing, onboarding of new team members and suppliers, and effective coordination.
  • Procurement & Logistics Support: Assist with purchasing by raising requisitions, tracking orders, and coordinating logistics from suppliers to site, providing regular progress updates.
  • Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure adherence to health & safety, GDPR, and company policies, supporting audit preparation by maintaining compliant and up-to-date documentation.
Operations Coordinator Job Requirements
