Job summary

DWP Digital is seeking an Operational Management Information Developer to leverage data and insight to shape services supporting millions of UK customers. You will join the Working Age Data and Performance Team within the Digital Transformation Group, delivering management information and analytical products that drive continuous improvement.

You will build dashboards using Power BI and SQL, transform complex data into actionable insights, and work with senior stakeholders to influence decisions

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse complex operational data.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to collaborate, influence stakeholders and drive positive outcomes through data-led insight.
• Experience leading change and service improvement, taking projects from concept to delivery while influencing others to achieve objectives.
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to interpret complex data, apply sound judgement and make evidence-based recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting complex findings and recommendations to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality management information, dashboards and analytical products using tools such as Power BI and SQL.
• Transform complex data into meaningful insights that support operational and strategic decision making.
• Identify trends, measure performance and uncover opportunities to improve service delivery across Universal Credit and Labour Market services.
• Lead analytical projects and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Influence decisions through evidence-based analysis and work with operational colleagues and senior stakeholders.
