Job summary

DWP Digital is hiring an Operational Management Information Developer to turn data into actionable insights that improve services for millions across the UK. You’ll create dashboards and analytical products using Power BI and SQL, shaping services in collaboration with operational teams and senior leaders.

You will work in a hybrid model, balancing home and hub time, with a focus on delivering data-led improvements across Working Age services and Universal Credit.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse complex operational data.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to collaborate, influence stakeholders and drive positive outcomes through data-led insight.
• Experience leading change and service improvement, taking projects from concept to delivery while influencing others to achieve objectives.
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to interpret complex data, apply sound judgement and make evidence-based recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting complex findings and recommendations to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality management information, dashboards and analytical products using Power BI and SQL.
• Transform complex data into meaningful insights that support operational and strategic decision making.
• Combine data from multiple sources to identify trends and measure performance.
• Influence decisions through evidence-based analysis with operational colleagues, digital teams and senior stakeholders.
• Lead analytical projects and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to improving customer outcomes, increasing efficiency and supporting strategic priorities across Universal Credit and Labour Market services.
