Job summary

DWP Digital is seeking an Operational Management Information Developer to turn data into insight that shapes services for millions of UK customers. You will develop high‑quality management information, dashboards and analytical products using Power BI and SQL, transforming complex data into actionable recommendations for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret and analyse complex operational data.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to collaborate, influence stakeholders and drive outcomes through data-led insight.
• Experience leading change and service improvement, taking projects from concept to delivery while influencing others to achieve objectives.
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to interpret complex data, apply sound judgement and make evidence-based recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting complex findings and recommendations to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality management information, dashboards and analytical products using tools such as Power BI and SQL.
• Transform complex data into meaningful insights that support operational and strategic decision making.
• Identify trends, measure performance and uncover opportunities to improve service delivery across Universal Credit and Labour Market services.
• Work with operational colleagues, digital teams and senior stakeholders, including Directors and Ministers, and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
