Job summary

DWP Digital is seeking an Operational Management Information Developer to drive data-led improvements across Working Age services. You will develop dashboards and analytical products, turning complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

Hybrid working with home and hub days, contributing to decisions that impact millions of customers. You will work with diverse teams and lead analytical projects, communicating findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse complex operational data.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to collaborate, influence stakeholders and drive positive outcomes through data-led insight.
• Experience leading change and service improvement, taking projects from concept to delivery while influencing others to achieve objectives.
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to interpret complex data, apply sound judgement and make evidence-based recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting complex findings and recommendations to senior leaders.
• Experience using SQL or similar data manipulation tools, version control such as Git, and Power BI or similar visualisation software.

Responsibilities

• Use data and insight to shape services that support millions of customers across the UK.
• Develop high-quality management information, dashboards and analytical products using Power BI and SQL.
• Transform complex data into meaningful insights to support operational and strategic decision making.
• Identify trends, measure performance and uncover opportunities to improve service delivery.
• Collaborate with operational colleagues, digital teams and senior stakeholders, including Directors and Ministers, and present findings clearly.
