Job Responsibilities

1. Confidently work with our event planning team to deliver the events they’ve crafted. We go the extra mile to hand tailor our offer to create memorable experiences, and effective communication is what brings them to life.
2. Have a good understanding of function sheets and floor plans, with the ability to interpret a well-made plan and see it through from setup to pack down.
3. Efficiently and professionally organise and motivate a team to deliver genuine hospitality, with an attention to detail that impresses our clients.
4. Work closely with the in-house logistics team to ensure the safe and efficient movement and preparation of stock and equipment needed, and track stock consumption for each event.
5. Ensure all food and drink displays meet standards, working closely with the chef team to carry out food service efficiently and to the highest standards.
6. Be proactive, adaptable, and flexible, maintaining expertise and composure even when plans change. Communicate effectively with clients and the Southbank team to find quick resolutions.
7. Follow all Southbank Centres rules and foster good relationships with the venue’s internal teams.
8. Adhere to all company and site H&S, Food Safety, Fire Safety, and Licensing procedures, ensuring completion of sign-off sheets and timesheets for agency staff.
