Job summary

ECM Selection is seeking a technically curious and highly capable engineer to support deployment of defence-technologies at customer sites near Cambridge. You will manage infrastructure, monitor performance and troubleshoot issues as part of a growing start-up environment.

Candidates should have a strong academic background, top grades, and evidence of leadership. The role is onsite, with potential travel to client sites and eligibility for security clearance required.

Qualifications

• First in computer science, electronics, physics, maths or mechatronic engineering from a Russell Group university with strong maths/physics A-levels.
• Interest in technology including AI and robotics through hobbies or projects.
• Project experience solving technical problems with stakeholders and strong communication.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects with excellent organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support customer solutions onsite at client sites.
• Management of infrastructure and performance monitoring.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Travel to client sites as required and maintain clear communication.
