Job summary

Yusen Logistics Derby site is seeking an Onsite Coordinator to manage inbound parts and ensure smooth operation. Based at the customer site, you will keep real-time tracking accurate and keep both Yusen and customer stakeholders informed throughout the day.

You’ll support drivers by providing clear schedules, coordinating movements, and resolving issues to maintain flow. The role operates on a 24-hour site with rotating shifts (05:00-14:00, 13:00-23:00, 21:00-06:00).

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and customer service mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support daily abnormalities raised by production and logistics stakeholders, ensuring procedures are followed.
• Check manifest paperwork for 100% accuracy against planned data.
• Complete customer reports accurately and on time with clear, reliable information.
• Enter data into the system precisely and keep records updated.
• Follow the customer’s escalation process promptly and within timelines.
• Manage truck arrivals and departures to maintain smooth flow.
• Log delays and abnormalities with LPs in the tracking system.
• Communicate delays and freight issues to relevant departments and escalate as needed.
