PlanetRecruitment is assisting a client in Crawley, seeking an IT Hardware Engineer - Laptops to diagnose and repair laptops on site. The role requires hands-on hardware repair experience and ability to install Windows OS, with a strong customer-service approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT field desirable.
• Experience of repairing/building hardware.
• Can-do attitude to provide best service.
• Self-starter – propose improvements to service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose incoming laptops for defects and damage and log findings.
• Install Windows operating system on devices.
• Maintain equipment, perform repairs, and upgrade hardware/software as needed.
• Provide basic 1st line technical support to end users and update tickets.
