Job summary

Class Technology Solutions (CTS) in Crawley is seeking a Device Repairs Engineer to diagnose and repair laptops and other devices used by schools across the UK. The role focuses on hardware repairs, diagnostics, and providing excellent service in a busy service centre.

The ideal candidate has IT repair experience, knowledge of Windows installation, and a strong customer-service mindset. Training and ongoing support are provided to grow technical expertise in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT repair or hardware refurbishment.
• Familiar with Windows OS installation and configuration.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Device diagnostics: assess incoming laptops, identify faults and damage.
• Carry out hardware repairs, upgrades and modifications.
• Install and configure Windows operating systems.
• Ensure repairs meet high standards and document outcomes.
• Maintain ESD processes and workshop standards.
