Job summary

Allstaff Professional Services Division is seeking a motivated Junior Support Analyst - Business Applications to join their on-site team in Inchinnan, Renfrewshire. The role supports ERP and related tools, with training in enterprise applications and development activities to build a career in business analysis and systems support.

You will work under the Systems Manager, gaining hands-on exposure to production systems, data and business processes across the organisation.

Qualifications

Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Systems, BIT or related field.
Self-taught SQL and programming with supporting projects, coursework or internship.

Responsibilities

Provide first and second-line support for colleagues using business applications.
Create and maintain SQL queries to identify data issues and support data validation.
Assist with smaller development and system configuration activities under guidance from senior team members.
Produce and maintain documentation covering business processes and system configurations.
Work with stakeholders to understand and define requirements for system improvements and fixes.
Carry out testing of system updates, patches and new functionality before release.
Escalate more complex technical issues and monitor progress to resolution.
Assist with data cleansing, migration and reporting activities as required.
Develop a strong understanding of core business applications, processes and data structures.
