Job summary

CDW UK is seeking a motivated IT Support Technician / Onsite Engineer to provide on-site IT support across police and secure customer locations. The role is primarily Worcester-based with regular travel to sites across Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Bristol, supported by a £400 per month car allowance.

You will handle desktop support, hardware maintenance and project assistance, with exposure to Windows 10/11, Windows Server, AD, DNS and DHCP.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT Support, Service Desk, Field Engineering or Desktop Support.
• Good understanding of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support across police and secure locations.
• Support Windows 10/11 environments and active directory services (AD, DNS, DHCP).
• Perform break/fix maintenance and hardware replacements.
• Assist with office moves, equipment installations and workstation deployments.
• Maintain ticket updates and documentation.
• Support project work and multi-site coverage across the region.
