Job summary

Computacenter PLC is hiring for a 2nd line IT support role in the United Kingdom. The candidate will manage incident and request tasks, coordinate with Level 3 teams, and work on projects while ensuring SLA targets are met. Strong Windows OS knowledge and IT hardware experience are required.

Experience with printers, networking, and ITSM tools is beneficial. The role may require flexible hours and a full UK driving license, with SC clearance likely or required.

Qualifications

• Experience handling IT incidents and requests.
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 configuration and registry settings.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes and ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Undertake incident and request tasks.
• 2nd line responsibility for resolving incidents to SLA.
• Maintain a 2% incident per month target.
• Complete assigned works within allocated timeframes.
• Undertake project tasks supporting Project Managers.
• Undertake non-standard requests to agreed timescales.
• Communicate with Level 3 teams to highlight major issues.
• Resolve issues for laptops/desktops, networks, printers, etc.
• Install and configure software and hardware; Windows OS knowledge required.
• Basic level understanding in SCCM/Active Directory; Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS.
