Job summary

Savaria UK is seeking an enthusiastic IT Support Engineer to join our Kingswinford team, providing hands-on onsite IT support to local staff and ensuring smooth operation of workplace technology.

You will diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues, manage user accounts and devices, and collaborate with global IT colleagues on projects, rolling out improvements while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an IT Support Engineer, Desktop Support, Service Desk or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 and AD services.
• Experience with ITSM platforms and ticketing systems.
• Excellent communication and a proactive, customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional onsite IT support to employees across the business.
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, application and connectivity issues.
• Installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing IT equipment and systems.
• Setting up and managing computers, devices, peripherals and user accounts.
• Supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory and Microsoft Intune.
• Managing incidents escalated by the Service Desk that require onsite intervention or advanced troubleshooting.
• Performing basic network troubleshooting across LAN, Wi‑Fi, connectivity and structured cabling.
• Working closely with infrastructure, networking, security and application teams to resolve issues and support projects.
• Assisting with technology rollouts, migrations, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintaining accurate asset records and support documentation within the ticketing system.
• Acting as a deputy for the ICT Coordinator when required.
• Supporting occasional out-of-hours activities for critical incidents, maintenance or project work.
• Travelling occasionally to support operational and project requirements.
