Job summary

Savaria UK is seeking an enthusiastic IT Support Engineer to join our Kingswinford site. This hands-on, onsite role: you will be the face of IT for local teams, delivering high-quality support and ensuring smooth workplace technology operation.

The role sits alongside the central Service Desk; you will provide second-line support, resolve issues with ownership and first-time resolution, and collaborate with global IT.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT Support, Desktop Support or Service Desk.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Active Directory / Entra ID.
• Good networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, LAN, Wi-Fi.
• Familiarity with IT security principles and asset management.
• Experience with ITSM platforms and incident management.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support across the business.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, maintain and repair IT equipment.
• Set up computers, devices, peripherals and user accounts.
• Support Windows environments, M365, Entra ID, AD, and Intune.
• Escalate incidents requiring onsite intervention.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting (LAN, Wi‑Fi).
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking and security teams.
• Assist with technology rollouts and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate asset records and documentation.
• Occasional out-of-hours support and travel as needed.
