Job summary

Claranet is seeking an Onsite Support Engineer to deliver high-quality, customer-facing technical support from a dedicated customer site in the UK. You will own complex incidents through resolution, liaise with remote resolver teams and third-party suppliers, and contribute to improved service reliability and documentation.

Qualifications

• Senior desktop/onsite support in a business-critical environment.
• Advanced troubleshooting of Windows endpoints and Microsoft 365 apps.
• Experience with identity services such as Entra ID/Active Directory.
• Knowledge of endpoint management tools (Intune, ConfigMgr).
• Experience setting up smartphones and mobile devices for end users.
• Strong grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi and VPN fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex incidents and requests from diagnosis to closure.
• Provide hands-on support for end-user computing and workplace tech.
• Diagnose local network connectivity, VPN, and Wi‑Fi issues with resolver teams.
• Support priority incidents under Team Lead coordination with timely updates.
• Perform approved installations, moves, changes, upgrades and hardware replacements.
• Assist joiners/movers/leavers with devices and access checks.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis and knowledge articles.
• Coordinate with remote teams and third-party vendors to restore service.
