Job summary

AVI-SPL in London is seeking an Onsite Support Technician to partner with customers, management, global helpdesk, and SIG teams for world-class on-site AV support. You will set up conference spaces, support high-profile events, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot a range of AV systems across client sites.

The role requires 5+ years in AV production, strong Crestron/Extron knowledge, and flexibility to travel and work after hours to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Audio Visual Production or related field.
• Strong knowledge of AV signal flow, codecs, and networking.
• Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Flexible to work after hours and weekends when required.
• Hands-on experience with Crestron, Extron, Shure, Yamaha, Polycom, Biamp.

Responsibilities

• Set up/breakdown of conference spaces for events and meetings.
• Provide media support for high-profile events and Town Halls.
• Maintain and troubleshoot AV equipment and systems on site.
• Provide field service for networked devices and video conferencing tools.
• Travel to various client sites and adhere to safety standards.
