Job summary

Sky Systems, Inc. (SkySys) in Maidenhead, UK, seeks an onsite IT Infrastructure Support Technician to backfill with hands-on hardware, software and OS troubleshooting. You will diagnose desk-side issues, install desktops and peripherals, and perform smart-hand work at customer sites.

The role requires TCP/IP networking, DNS/DHCP, VPN and RDP familiarity, plus ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Associate degree in electronics and CompTIA A+ are preferred; other OEM certifications are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of IT infrastructure field support experience.
• Experience in installing and troubleshooting desktops, printers, laptops and peripherals.
• Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN/WAN and site-based smart-hand activities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform on-site hardware tasks safely.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers and management.
• CompTIA A+ certification and electronics background preferred.
• Vendor certifications from OEMs (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP) are a plus.
• Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow / Remedy).
