Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer in Dunfermline to provide hands-on technical support across a busy customer environment. You will resolve incidents, fulfill service requests, and ensure users receive a responsive, high-quality support experience.

The role is onsite full time in Dunfermline, with responsibilities including second-line incident resolution, project tasks, and coordination with Level 3 teams for major issues.

Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11) and Office applications.

Responsibilities

Handle incidents and requests, escalating as needed to 2nd line.
Maintain incident target of <2% per month and resolve to SLA.
Complete assigned tasks within timescales and support project work.
Coordinate with Level 3 teams for major issues.
Install and configure software and hardware for desktops/laptops.
