Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer for an onsite, full-time role in Dunfermline. You will provide hands-on technical support, resolve incidents to SLA, and handle requests across hardware, software, and networks.

The role requires strong Windows OS knowledge, networking basics, ITSM experience with ServiceNow, and excellent customer service. A UK driving license and SC Clearance readiness are needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Windows 10/11, build, config and registry settings.
• Experience with LTSC channels and KIOSK is desirable.
• Basic understanding of SCCM/Active Directory and IT service models.

Responsibilities

• Undertake incident and request tasks.
• 2nd line responsibility for resolving incidents to SLA.
• Maintain a <2% incident per month target.
• Complete assigned works within allocated timeframes.
• Undertake project tasks supporting project managers.
• Handle non-standard requests within timescales.
• Coordinate with Level 3 teams for major issues.
• Resolve laptop/desktop hardware, networks, printers, etc.
• Install and configure software and hardware.
