Job summary

Computacenter is seeking an onsite Desktop Support Engineer in King's Lynn, Norfolk. You will provide hands-on technical support across a busy user environment, handling incidents, service requests, and escalating as needed. The role requires strong customer service and a proactive approach to problem resolution.

You will work onsite full‑time, supporting Windows 10/11, Office, and related IT services, with duties spanning incident handling, network connectivity, and end-user hardware support.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS (Windows 10/11) and Office applications.
• Experience with LTSC Channels and KIOSK is desirable.
• Basic understanding of SCCM/Active Directory and IT service models.

Responsibilities

• Handle incidents and service requests and resolve to SLA targets.
• Provide 2nd line support for incident resolution.
• Aim for <2% monthly incident rate and complete tasks within timeframes.
