Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support across a busy customer environment. This on-site role in Preston requires resolving incidents to SLA, handling service requests and contributing to a high-quality support experience.

You will work with Windows 10/11, Office applications and various IT hardware. The role involves co-ordinating with Level 3 teams and supporting project tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in 2nd line incident resolution and service requests.
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Office applications and registry settings.

Responsibilities

• Handle incidents and requests per SLA targets.
• Provide 2nd line support and coordinate with Level 3 teams.
• Resolve hardware, software, and network issues on desktops/laptops.
• Install and configure software and hardware for users.
• Communicate progress with stakeholders and project teams.
