Job summary

Sainsbury's Limited is seeking a proactive Online Store Manager in Ipswich to lead the in-store and online shopping experience. The role involves directing an online picking and delivery team, coaching shoppers and drivers, and ensuring safe, efficient service for both online and in-store customers.

You will work with fellow managers to meet KPIs, manage performance issues, and maintain smooth operations across shifts, including early-morning online activity.

Qualifications

• Previous line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Brilliant customer service and coaching a team to achieve to the same standard.
• Proven track record of meeting KPIs and driving performance.
• Experience leading a team in a busy store setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and orchestrate the delivery of an online picking and delivery team to support the in-store online service.
• Be a visible leader, coaching shoppers and drivers to deliver a seamless shopping experience for all customers.
• Collaborate with other managers to improve the overall store shopping experience.
• People management is a key part of the role, handling performance, disciplinaries, scheduling and pay.
