Sainsbury's in Sutton is seeking an experienced Online Store Manager to lead our in-store online delivery operations. You’ll manage a busy team of shoppers and drivers, ensuring a seamless, safe and high‑quality shopping experience for both online and in-store customers.

You will coach, develop and motivate your team, drive KPI performance, and collaborate with other store managers to optimise overall store service. This role requires early morning shifts and strong people leadership.

Qualifications

• Track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Operational leadership responsibilities in store operations.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs.
• Experience handling employee relations issues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and orchestrate the delivery of an online picking and delivery team to ensure the success of the in-store online service.
• Be a visible leader, coaching a large team of shoppers and drivers to deliver a seamless and safe shopping experience for all our online and in-store customers.
• Collaborate with other managers to ensure the success of the shopping experience of the overall store.
• People management is a big part of the role, managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries and ensuring scheduling and pay are accurate.
• An early start is common, with online picking work typically from 04:00–08:00.
