Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking an online store manager in Cambridge to lead the in-store online shopping team, coordinating picking and delivery to deliver a seamless service for online and in-store customers.

You will coach shoppers and drivers, drive KPI performance, and collaborate with fellow managers to ensure smooth store operations. Strong people leadership and disciplinary experience are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and coach colleagues to do the same.
• Experience leading a fast-paced, customer-facing team and driving performance.
• Ability to manage employee relations issues, including disciplinaries and absence management.
• Strong operational leadership, able to run store operations in the absence of senior managers.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs (sales, availability, customer satisfaction).

Responsibilities

• Plan and orchestrate the delivery of an online picking and delivery team to ensure the success of the in store online service.
• Be a visible leader, coaching a large team of shoppers and drivers to deliver a seamless and safe shopping experience.
• Collaborate with other managers to ensure the success of the shopping experience of the overall store.
• Manage scheduling and pay with attention to accuracy and fairness.
