Job summary

SENse Learning seeks dedicated Intervention Tutors to support SEND and SEMH learners. You will deliver bespoke one-to-one sessions, in-person, online, or hybrid, tailoring lessons to each student’s EHCP and risk assessment.

Applicants should have 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and be UK-based with DBS eligibility. This self-employed role offers flexible hours and a meaningful, impact-driven career.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH.
• QTS/QTLS certification is required.
• UK-based with legal right to work in the UK, including remote work.
• Enhanced DBS clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring to KS1–KS5 learners as appropriate.
• Plan and report lessons with regular progress feedback tailored to SEND/SEMH needs.
• Build strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs.
• Provide trauma-informed, student-centred tutoring and mentoring.
