We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment where no day is the same. You will play an important role in the day-to-day operations by providing excellent customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments, and maintaining the store’s appearance.

Customer focus is at the heart of everything we do. You will seek to improve service through on-the-job coaching and feedback, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Responsibilities:

• Serve customers with passion and pride, providing natural, great service.
• Encourage customer feedback via surveys.
• Assist across all store areas, including online, tills, replenishment, vending, and stock routines.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in seasonal, community, and charity events.
• Understand store performance and contribute to profit delivery.
• Follow policies, live our values, and create an inclusive atmosphere.
• Accurately clock in and out, and follow security and safety protocols.
• Respond to assistance calls, explain actions to customers, and keep the store tidy and organized.
• Potentially run shifts in the absence of managers.
• If applicable, perform Post Office operations and pass necessary background checks.
