We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment where no day is the same.

You will play an important role in the day-to-day operations by providing excellent customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments, and helping maintain the store’s appearance.

You will be Responsible For

• Encouraging customer feedback through surveys.
• Working across all store areas including online, tills, replenishment, vending, and stock routines.
• Practicing safety in all tasks.
• Participating in seasonal, community, and charity events.
• Understanding store performance and your role in delivering profit.

• Clocking in and out accurately for proper payment.
• Following security procedures and wearing safety equipment.
• Following the 'Think 25' policy when serving age-restricted products.
• Responding quickly to assistance calls or interventions at self-service checkouts.
• Keeping the store tidy and organized.
• Potentially running the shift in the absence of managers.
• Following all training to ensure safety and legality.
• If applicable, managing daily Post Office operations and passing necessary background checks.
