We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment where no day is the same.

You will play an important role in the daily operations of our store by providing excellent customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments, and maintaining the store’s appearance.

As the customer is at the heart of everything we do, you will constantly seek ways to improve service through on-the-job coaching and feedback.

With your guidance, your store will remain a safe place to work and shop.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve customers with passion and pride, providing natural service.
  • Encourage customer feedback through surveys.
  • Work across store areas including online, tills, replenishment, vending, and stock routines.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed.
  • Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
  • Understand store performance and contribute to profitability.
  • Follow policies, live values, and make everyone feel welcome.
  • Accurately clock in and out for shifts.
  • Follow security procedures and wear safety equipment.
  • Follow the 'think 25' policy for age-restricted products.
  • Respond quickly to assistance calls and explain actions to customers.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized store environment.
  • Potentially run shifts in the absence of supervisors.
  • If applicable, operate the Post Office and pass background checks.
