Job summary

Ritz Recruitment is seeking a Property Assistant to manage on-site operations at an apartment building in the Bristol area. Based in Newbury, you will join a team ensuring residents receive excellent service on a temporary basis.

Key duties include handling resident inquiries, arranging viewings, managing access for agents and contractors, and conducting room inventories and safety checks. English communication must be strong and customer-focused.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, front of house experience is beneficial.
• Experience in property, hospitality, travel or similar would be an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal English skills.
• Passionate about customer service and building relationships.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Face-to-face customer interaction and building rapport with residents.
• Respond to inquiries by phone and email.
• Book viewings and keep residents updated on progress.
• Update the workflow calendar with resident viewings.
• Arrange access for third parties (agents, contractors, inventories).
• Conduct room inventories and preventive maintenance checks.
• Inspect communal areas for cleanliness, hazards or safety issues.
