Job summary

Ritz Recruitment is seeking a friendly Customer Service Assistant for a 4-week temporary assignment in London SE1. The role blends front-of-house service, admin tasks, and support for resident activities to create a welcoming living experience in a student accommodation community.

You will handle enquiries, assist with move-in/move-out, and support marketing and occupancy efforts while maintaining accurate records and databases. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Confidence working with databases and administrative systems.
• A proactive, positive, and professional approach.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of people.
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a welcoming and professional front-of-house service.
• Respond to resident enquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Support community events and activities that enhance the resident experience.
• Manage maintenance requests and ensure issues are appropriately logged and tracked.
• Maintain accurate records, databases, and resident documentation.
• Assist with resident communications, notices, and general administration.
• Support move-in and move-out periods, helping ensure a smooth resident journey.
• Support sales and leasing activities to maximise occupancy levels.
• Assist with local marketing activities and community engagement initiatives.
• Support rent collection processes and follow up on outstanding arrears.
