Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join a busy, on-site team at an operational site in Swindon on an initial 12-month contract. You will be the face of IT, providing 1st/2nd line support across office, production and laboratory environments, working closely with remote teams.

The role offers hands-on ownership of issues, strong customer focus, and exposure to a varied technical environment. Possibility of permanent placement exists after the contract.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in IT Support Engineer/Desktop Support roles.
• Strong ITIL-based support experience.
• Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
• Asset Management and Change Management experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues through to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to end users.
• Build, deploy and support laptops and end-user devices.
• Support Microsoft Autopilot provisioning and device lifecycle activities.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and peripheral issues.
• Support meeting room and collaboration technologies.
• Manage incidents, requests and changes through ServiceNow.
• Provide smart hands support for remote infrastructure, network and server teams.
• Maintain IT asset records and support asset lifecycle management.
• Deliver excellent customer service across a diverse user base.
