Job summary

Talentmark are recruiting for an IT Field Technician to join a global healthcare provider to hospitals, clinics and homes on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is site based in Swindon.

The candidate will provide hands-on IT support, install and maintain equipment, manage stock and log issues for tracking. A diploma in IT/CS is required, with 4+ years of IT support experience and relevant certifications advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT/CS or related subject.
• At least 4 years of hands-on IT support experience.
• IT certifications such as CompTIA, MCP or MCSE are a plus.
• Comfortable working under pressure and to deadlines.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support to staff, resolving hardware, software and basic network issues.
• Set up, install and maintain IT equipment across the site.
• Maintain IT stock levels and order new equipment as needed.
• Log all issues and fixes clearly for tracking and continuous improvement.
• Escalate more complex problems to senior IT staff as required.
• Collaborate with local vendors on cabling, printers and equipment disposal.
