Job summary

NSC Global in the United Kingdom is seeking Level 1 Field Service Technicians to deliver on-site technical support for customer systems. You will troubleshoot, repair and replace hardware, diagnose faults and update service calls within SLA.

You will attend customer sites, manage parts and documentation, communicate clearly with customers, and escalate issues as needed. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Level 1 technical support or field service.
• Understanding of PC, laptop hardware.
• Familiarity with BIOS, drivers and basic networking.
• Ability to document troubleshooting steps clearly.
• Fluent English; local language for territory.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites within agreed service windows and complete each intervention to the required standard.
• Perform on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, hardware repair and component replacement across desktops, laptops and related client hardware.
• Validate warranty status, asset identification and diagnostic findings before completing any repair.
• Apply approved diagnostic tools and methods, including built-in diagnostics and structured troubleshooting.
• Confirm receipt of service calls, manage ETA updates and update records in systems.
