Job summary

Alter Domus seeks an on-site Field Service Engineer to deliver reliable end-user device support across locations. You will prepare, image, deploy and troubleshoot laptops and peripherals, following documented procedures and maintaining accurate asset data.

You will coordinate device swaps and reimaging, ensure smooth handovers, and support logistics from receiving to returns. Strong communication and organization are essential for this hybrid role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in on-site IT support and device provisioning.
• Familiarity with Intune or Autopilot for provisioning.
• Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira Service Management).
• Strong customer-facing communication and a proactive service mindset.
• Ability to work outside standard business hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, configure and deliver laptops, peripherals and standard equipment for joiner/mover/leaver processes.
• Imaging and provisioning using Intune or Autopilot per procedures.
• On-site hardware and software troubleshooting for common workplace issues.
• Coordinate device swaps, reimaging and continuity of service.
• Conduct user handovers and provide basic orientation on new equipment.
• Update asset records and inventory data in ticketing systems.
• Support logistics, returns and dispatch for warranty or depot repair.
• Act as on-site remote hands for infrastructure support when needed.
• Occasional after-hours work with prior notice for maintenance windows.
