Job summary

Sanderson Recruitment Plc is working with a leading ICT services provider to recruit a Site Based Engineer for roles across the UK. The position is based in Ashby, LE65, with a permanent contract and a salary of £27,000–£28,000 depending on experience.

You will provide maintenance and on-site support, ensuring adherence to technical standards and high customer satisfaction. A full UK driving licence and Baseline Check are required, along with strong IT systems knowledge.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence is required and access to a car.
• Baseline Personnel Security Standard check will be undertaken.
• Strong understanding of IT systems and environments.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and site-based support.
• Complete tasks to company standards and procedures.
• Deliver exceptional customer service on-site.
• Attend incidents/requests as directed by the Customer Incident Centre.
• Remain customer-focused and professional at all times.
• Monitor, update and progress incidents promptly.
• Coordinate between clients and vendors to resolve problems within timescales.
• Resolve hardware issues and basic software problems.
