Job summary

Sanderson is seeking a Field Services Engineer based in Glasgow, working across the UK. You will provide on-site IT hardware support, repair and deployments, with travel to client sites and a 9:00–17:30 schedule plus out-of-hours standby.

Qualifications

• On-site field engineering with hardware repair and IT support.
• Must have a valid UK driving license and business-insured car.
• Willing to undergo BPSS check.
• Ability to travel across client sites within geographic area.
• Strong customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Attend incidents/requests as directed by the Customer Incident Centre.
• Ensure incidents are monitored, updated and progressed promptly.
• Provide training and guidance to Junior Field Service engineers.
• Coordinate between clients and vendors for timely resolution.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in all work.
• Build (hardware/software) and deploy PCs (desktop and laptop).
• Travel between locations as part of field service delivery.
