Job summary

VIVO Defence Services is seeking a Service Manager to lead day-to-day operational delivery at Abbey Wood, Bristol, ensuring safe, compliant maintenance and high-quality service delivery under a Defence contract. You will coordinate reactive and planned works, manage contractors, and drive KPI performance.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will engage with customers and stakeholders, uphold safety standards, and support continuous improvement through tailored training and development

Qualifications

• Level 3 City & Guilds in electrical or mechanical discipline (or equivalent).
• IOSH Managing Safely and/or NEBOSH General Certificate preferred.
• Experience with CAFM systems and RAMS/permits documentation.
• Strong contractor management and KPI delivery.
• Understand CDM and safety responsibilities in service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee reactive and planned maintenance, Billable Works and remedial activities.
• Coordinate contractors and manage performance to meet contractual KPIs.
• Ensure compliance, quality and customer satisfaction across the site.
• Build relationships with customers, stakeholders and delivery partners.
• Provide technical guidance and support investigations related to service issues.
