Job summary

VIVO Defence Services is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to ensure timely delivery of billable works at Kineton, overseeing contractors for office refurbishments and related projects. The role balances 60% office-based reporting and 40% on-site quality checks, with CAFM record-keeping and compliance duties.

Responsibilities include monitoring supply chain, safety, and risk assessments, plus managing documentation and ensuring JSP 375 compliance while covering two additional sites in

Qualifications

• Experience in delivery management of small works projects with planning and directing activities.
• Good grasp of building/civil engineering or M&E engineering concepts.
• Strong IT skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to solve problems and manage performance proactively.
• Experience managing contractors in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Balance 60% office-based duties with 40% on-site checks; report progress to DIO and Built Estate Manager.
• Record tasks in the CAFM system and maintain documentation for maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor supply chain service delivery, value for money, quality and safety performance indicators.
• Review risk assessments, MSs, site risk registers and ensure compliance with JSP 375.
• Ensure compliance with Asbestos and Legionella registers and management plans.
