Places for People is seeking a Porter to join our on-site team in London. You will help ensure the development is safe, well-presented and welcoming for residents and visitors, supporting security and health and safety checks.

This visible, service-focused role involves assisting residents, coordinating with the House Manager and operations teams, and delivering a great customer experience day to day.

Qualifications

• Experience in building services such as concierge or caretaking.
• Emergency First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain.
• Desirable: experience in customer-facing on-site roles.
• Desirable: ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Desirable: clear and confident communication skills.
• Desirable: basic working knowledge of IT systems.

Responsabilités

• Support day-to-day site security and monitor access.
• Assist with health and safety compliance checks across the development.
• Be a visible presence on site and assist residents and visitors.
• Support the on-site cleaning team with additional tasks as directed.
• Work closely with the operations team to share information accurately.
• Respond to incidents or emergencies per procedures.
• Contribute to a positive, professional customer experience across the development.
• Provide information to the Property Manager on a daily basis.
