Places for People is recruiting a part-time Porter to join the on-site team in London. You will help ensure the development remains safe, well-presented, and welcoming for residents and visitors while supporting security and health and safety checks.

You will be a visible presence on site, assist residents and visitors, and work with cleaning teams and the wider operations colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day running. This role offers flexibility and a rewarding customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in building services such as concierge or caretaking.
• Emergency First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• Desirable: experience in customer-facing, on-site role.
• Desirable: clear and confident communication skills.
• Desirable: basic working knowledge of IT systems.

Responsabilités

• Supporting day-to-day site security and monitoring access as required
• Assisting with health and safety compliance checks across the development
• Being a visible presence on site and assisting residents and visitors when needed
• Supporting the on-site cleaning team with additional tasks as directed
• Working closely with the operations team to ensure accurate information sharing
• Responding appropriately to incidents or emergencies in line with procedures
• Contributing to a positive, professional customer experience across the development
• Providing information to the Property Manager on a daily basis
