Job summary

Places for People is seeking a Porter to join the on-site team in London. You will support site security, health and safety checks, and assist residents and visitors while working with the House Manager and wider operations.

The role is part-time (4 hours/day, Mon-Fri, mornings) with a focus on delivering a friendly customer experience and contributing to a safe, well-presented development.

Qualifications

• Experience in building services such as concierge or caretaking is essential.
• Emergency First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day site security and monitor access as required.
• Assist with health and safety compliance checks across the development.
• Be a visible presence on site and help residents and visitors as needed.
• Assist on-site cleaning team with additional tasks as directed.
• Work with operations to share accurate information daily.
• Respond to incidents or emergencies per procedures.
• Contribute to a positive, professional customer experience.
• Provide information to the Property Manager daily.
