Job summary

Rail Gourmet is hiring an On Board Host for TransPennine Express at Liverpool Lime Street Station. The role is full-time (39 hours) with shifts from 6am to 9pm, including weekends, at £13.65 per hour plus commission.

You will perform in-seat trolley service, assist passengers, manage stock, meet sales targets, and ensure hygiene and safety standards while delivering first-class customer service. Full training is provided and 18+ age requirement applies to certain shifts.

Qualifications

• Ideally 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role within retail/leisure/hospitality.
• Must be 18 years or older to perform certain tasks or shifts.
• Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-seat trolley service on TPE trains, delivering outstanding customer service, managing stock and handling transactions.
• Travel on assigned trains to assist passengers, meet sales targets and contractual goals.
• Accurately account for stock and transactions, maintain hygiene and safety standards, support management initiatives.
