Job summary

SSP is hiring an On-Board Host for York Station on TransPennine Express trains. The role is full-time (39 hours) with shifts from early morning to evening, including some weekends, and a pay rate of £13.65 per hour plus commission.

Training is provided to prepare you for excellent customer service and sales targets. Applicants should have at least 2 years in a customer-facing role within retail, leisure, or hospitality, and must be at least 18 years old.

• Provide in-seat trolley service on TPE trains, delivering outstanding customer service and managing stock.
• Travel on assigned trains to assist passengers, meet sales targets, and achieve contractual goals.
• Accurately account for stock and transactions, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and support management initiatives.

On-Board Host for TransPennine Express (TPE) at York Station.

Pay Rate: £13.65 per hour plus commission
Hours: Full Time (39 hours).
Shifts: Rotational shifts between 6am and 8:30pm, including some weekends.

• Due to some responsibilities within the Onboard Host role, applicants will need to be18 years of age or overto perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.
• Adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, including long hours and varying shifts, no shift will exceed 12 hours.

Ideally you will have at least 2 years working experience gained in a Customer Facing role within the Retail Leisure & Hospitality Industry.

AS AN ON BOARD HOST YOU’LL:
