Job summary

Rail Gourmet seeks an On-Board Host for TransPennine Express at Manchester Station. This weekend role involves 16 hours per week, with shifts 4:30am–11:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and a pay rate of £13.65 per hour plus commission.

Role requires 18+ and offers full training, with stock/transactions handling and customer-facing service across TPE trains.

Job description

On-Board Host for TransPennine Express (TPE) at Manchester Station. (Weekends only)

Pay Rate: £13.65 per hour plus commission

Hours: Part Time (16 hours)

Shifts: Rotational shifts between 4:30am and 11:30pm every Saturday & Sunday

• Due to some responsibilities within the Onboard Host role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.
• Adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, including long hours and varying shifts.

Ideally you will have at least 2 years working experience gained in a Customer Facing role within the Retail Leisure & Hospitality Industry.

Full Training will be provided.

AS AN ON BOARD HOST YOU’LL:

• Provide 'at seat trolley service' on TPE trains, ensuring outstanding customer service, managing stock, and handling transactions.
• Travel on assigned trains, assisting passengers, achieving sales targets independently, and meeting contractual goals.
• Accurately account for stock and transactions, adhere to hygiene and safety standards, and support management initiatives.
